On the hunt for a new morning face wash to use in the shower, I decided to turn to Escentuals 1/3rd off French Pharmacy because being a full time student now, I can't afford my beloved Origins face wash.
As someone with dry and sensitive skin, Bioderma sounded like a great option. I opted for the Bioderma Atoderm PP Ultra Rich Foaming Gel which can be used on the face and body. With the Ultra Rich Foaming Gel being soap free and apparently, perfect for 'recurrent cutaneous dryness, discomfort and irritation' which my skin is prone to, it sounded like the type of thing I was looking for. With the words like 'ultra rich', I expected a luxury, thick and rich gel which was fragrance free, cleansing my skin without drying it out. It was the complete opposite and I have never been so disappointed!
The gel was extremely runny; I have to use so much because it just runs off of my wet hands and face which seems like such a waste of product. The gel also has the most bizarre and disgusting scent to it - it's texture, colour and scent remind me of toilet cleaner! Afterwards, when washing it off, my skin felt taught and dry - the complete opposite to when using the Origins Never A Dull Moment.
I have absolutely no use for this product as the smell completely puts me off, it's too runny and it dries out my skin. I am just so pleased I only paid £5.33 for it and not the full £8. I think next time, I will just splash out the cash and buy my favourite Origins face wash!

I have an obsession with face washes in the morning to wake me up - cream cleanser just doesn't cut it in the shower and I leave the cream/oil based cleansers for the evening.
