The Schwarzkopf  Essence Ultime Omega Repair BB Beauty Balm has been designed with Claudia Schiffer for damaged and depleted hair. It has seven benefits which help to repair and rebuild your hair structure, restore and prevent split ends, help with combing, add shine, increase bounce, vitality and hydration levels all with a weightless effect. With ingredients on the list such as 'Keratin', I was really excited to try this product as my hair is very damaged.

The Omega Repair Beauty Balm is a very light weight white cream/lotion combination that you can apply to damp or dry hair; I use it both ways and find that four pumps is sufficient when it comes to coating my fine hair. It has an unusual smell which in not very feminine and I do feel that it is a masculine scent which I can't say I love. When applying to damp hair, it spreads evenly and does leave my hair very smooth and tangle free. After blow drying, my hair is definitely smoother, softer and my split ends appear to be sealed shut and more hydrated. Prior to using this Beauty Balm after blow drying, the ends of my hair were parched and straw like, so I can certainly say in the short term, this has really helped to increase the hydration levels in the ends of my hair.

When using the Schwarzkopf Omega Repair Balm in dry hair, I was worried it would weigh my hair down or leave a greasy residue, but it doesn't at all. A few pumps smoothed through the ends really helps to revive them with a bit of well needed moisture, but it did not leave my hair looking greasy which is always a concern when you have fine hair.

I will certainly be repurchasing this again as I really noticed a difference to the feel and look of my hair when using it. For the price, I think this is an excellent, value for money product and on par with higher end brands that I have tried. I will also be picking up the shampoo and conditioner to try very soon, as I'm hoping they'll leave the same, fantastic results.
