Rimmel London Rita Ora Breakfast In Bed

Rita Ora's collaboration with Rimmel was launched in March and I was extremely excited to try out some of the shades. I picked up Breakfast In Bed from the Rimmel London 60 Seconds collection as I was picking up a few necessities in Tesco because it was on offer for around £2.69.

I have to say, I was really disappointed with the Rimmel polish. If I used a thin coat, it would leave a streaky, tasky mess (even on the third coat!), so I was left having to use really thick coats to stop the streaking. It also felt really gloopy when I was applying it to my nails, not like the gorgeous Barry M Gelly Nail Polishes which I adore.

On my nails, in the flesh (the photos of it seem to look pretty good), Breakfast in Bed looks quite tacky and reminds me of coloured tip-x! My nails also look like they have lots of ridges in them, even though I've used three thick coats followed by Seche Vite Top Coat. I do love the colour though, pastels seem to be very in at the minute.

Longevity, Rimmel's 60 Second nail polish has last around four days before it's started chipping; this is with a base and top coat. Overall, I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore Rimmel Nail Polishes and think I'll stick to the gorgeous Barry M.
