7 DEADLY SINS TAG

I've taken the '7 Deadly Sins Tag' from Paigey Pumpkin! Please let me know if you give it a go too by leaving me a comment.

1. Greed: What is your most inexpensive beauty product? What is your most expensive beauty product?

Inexpensive - Collection Lipstick (around £2.50) from their Gothic Range and an Elf Blusher (Think I got this on offer for around £1!)

Expensive - Smashbox Halo Powder (£39! Ekkk!), Estee Lauder Idealist Dual Action Refinishing Treatment (£36) and Ojon Rare Blend Oil (£30)

2. Wrath: What beauty product do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

Estee Lauder Pure Colour in 01 Hot Fuse (£24) and MAC Flower Fantasy Face Powder - Both of these items on certain days look amazing, but on others, they look terrible, especially when I over-do it with either of the products. I have to be in the right mood for applying them, otherwise I end up looking like Aunt Bessie!!

3. Gluttony: What are your most delicious beauty products?

Taste and smell wise, my Clarins lipsticks. They all taste and smell delicious!!!

4. Sloth: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?

My MAC Paintpot in Rollickin', MAC Pressed Pigment in Blonde Streak and two MAC Pigments in Golden Olive and Entremauve

I love these colours, but they're not really wearable for everyday and I'm not very imaginative when it comes to my eyes. I prefer more natural, muted colours.

Again, the paint pot is too vivid and bright for everyday (especially when I'm being lazy and just put some eyeliner on which is most days!) and the pressed pigment, well, I'm not really sure what to do with it?!

5. Pride: What beauty product gives you the most self-confidence?

Most certainly my foundation; Estee Lauder Doublewear and Smashbox Studio Skin. Both stay on really, really well and give me flawless skin.

Also my Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer which helps to keep me staying confident when I'm wearing eyeshadow that it's not creased, smudged or ran down my face!!

6. Lust: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

I love a man with dark brown eyes - I absolutely melt!! I also love tall guys, 6ft + please!

7. Envy: What product would you most like to receive as a gift?

Now, this is really difficult!!! At the moment, I'm lusting after Vichy Idealia Life Serum, so if I received that as a gift, I would be extremely happy. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy with anything beauty-wise from Space NK!

Holiday time!

After spending three days in London, I'm now off to Glasgow for a long weekend. Bit of a long way to drive for a long weekend, but I'm feeling like I just need a relaxing, fun break away from Nottingham. Here's some amazing goodies I got in London to keep you going whilst I'm away... I will blog more about each product after I've had chance to try them out over the next few weeks.

Smashbox Goodies

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

Smashbox O-Gloss which adapts and changes to your body temperature, PH levels and moisture

Smashbox Studio Skin - Full coverage but without the drying, face mask feeling of double wear. I have just used this today and my skin doesn't feel like it's going to crack every time I move like with Doublewear.

Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Primer - My skin is soooo dehydrated at the moment, so I'm hoping this can inject some moisture into my skin.

Smashbox Smoke Box - GORGEOUS! Love the colours, they're very me.

Smashbox Blush in Chiffon - a lovely coral/pink shimmer blusher

Smashbox Soft Lights in Shimmer - a lovely reflective shimmery powder

Smashbox Photo Set Finishing Powder - contains only three ingredients! Helps to minimise and absorb shine throughout the day whilst smoothing over and bluring any fine lines. Feels so silky and amazing. Not sure I'm going to need to use this as my skin is dehydrated.

Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Powder in Fair. One of my FAVOURITE products because of my dehydrated skin. Has a Hydrogel technology which apparently drip feeds your skin with moisture to keep it hydrated throughout the day.

What am I lusting over this week...

In love with this simple t-shirt with the bow back from & other stories. I hadn't come across this website before until I read about it on someone's blog. At £19, I don't think it's too bad for a t-shirt with a little bit of a twist. Love the gorgeous plum colour too.

Another lust from & other stories. This lovely, rich red purse. Amazing. On the lookout for a new purse at the moment, although I'm not sure this is big enough. For £19, it's too cheap for real leather, and I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to purses and handbags - they have to be leather!

How pretty and stylish is this box bag from Zara. Only thing holding me back is that it's not leather! Would prefer it to be £80+ and real leather than £25.99 and a man made material. Still gorgeous though and pondering on whether to buy it...

This blouse does not look at all flattering from the photos, but after seeing it styled in Stylist Magazine, I fell in love with it. They pair it with a bright, colourful paisley skirt (which was £250!!) and it looked lush. Top three buttons undone and it looked stylish and very on trend.

What do you think? Should I bite the bullet and make any purchases this week? Is there anything you can recommend?
