I had to jump on the blogging bandwagon with the likes of the Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain (£7.99 from Boots) and opted for Miami Forever and LA Exclusive. Apologies for those of you that are sick of seeing these pop up on blogs! Revlon Moisture Stains are a hydrating stain for the lips packed with vitamin E and aloe. They're designed to leave your lips hydrated and initially looking glossy, however, as the gloss wears off, you're left with a gorgeous stain.
Miami Forever is a bright orange with a little hint of coral running through. On my lips it is quite bright, but not overpowering as the glossiness makes it look more like a lipgloss than a lipstick or stain.
LA Exclusive is one I could get away with wearing on a daily basis. It's a baby pink but looks fairly natural and very glossy on my lips.
Staying wise, I was really impressed; even with the longevity of the shine. I love that they leave an initial glossy effect as a lot of stains dry straight down to a matte finish. Even though they are glossy, they still stain my lips well and stay put all day which I've found hasn't happened with other stains. I can also vouch for the moisturising properties too as I suffer from extremely dry lips and these do not make my lips dry and/or flakey. Fantastic results, Revlon!
I would definitely buy more of these Colorstay Stains, although I currently have wayyyyy too many lip products and do not need anymore! Also, with me starting uni in a few weeks, it'll probably be back to my trusty lip balm rather than experimenting with lip colours everyday!
