#Midsblogmeet - Blogger Meet in Birmingham

On Saturday, I had a wonderful time at the #MidsBlogMeet with some fantastic ladies in Birmingham. Alongside meeting the lovely ladies, we also had a talk and play with products from Weleda and Xenca.

At first, I was extremely nervous about going and meeting a room full of strangers, but I soon regained my confidence and had an absolutely wonderful day. I enjoyed it that much, I have already planned in my next Blogger meet in July!

Here are some photos from the day:

Here are all the lovely girlies, bar Naomi.

My lovely samples from Weleda. I received the Calendula Lotion and Pomegranate Firming Day Cream to try out.

Jo who was from Weleda talked about their amazing background, what Weleda do and who they are in terms of a company. And what an amazing brand they are. I had heard of Weleda before, but after Jo's talk, I learnt so much about the company such as the fact that all of their ingredients are pure, natural substances; they do not use any artificial preservatives, they grow their own plants and ingredients and their products are all priced so that everyone can afford them.

After passing around numerous different items, I quickly started building up a virtual shopping list, but I have yet to place an order - I'm waiting for my first pay day in my full time job at the end of June.

Xenca is a British company that sells a range of skincare, makeup and supplements. Their skincare and makeup range are organic (apart from the mascara and eyeliner which they're working on) and all of the products are clinically, dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested.

From what I tested on the day, their skincare range was lovely; very natural looking which left the skin on my hand and arm soft smooth. I love the fact that the skincare is free from parabens, petrochemicals, glycols and synthetic fragrances, as I do think people are becoming more aware of nasties in skincare and going down the healthier, more organic root.

The makeup range is 100% natural, paraben-free, GMO-free and eco-certified - fantastic news for those concerned with what they're putting on their skin. The colours were all beautifully pigmented and appeared to be long lasting. I will be posting a review up sometime in June on my lipstick that I was kindly given.

This was the product I was most excited about trying from Xenca - The Five A Day+. It contains natural enzymes, vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants and makes up five to seven portions of your daily fruit and veg - perfect if like me, you struggle to eat that much. I am a huge veg fan, but not all that bothered when it comes to fruit apart from bananas and raspberries. This sounded perfect for me, especially when Suzi told us it could increase your energy levels as I am constantly tired. I bought this with my own money to test and have been using it now since Sunday. Suzi said I should notice a difference within 10 days, so I will be following it up with a blog review, providing further information for anyone who is interested.

I have more photos which I will upload to Twitter and Instagram, so please head over and follow me if you're not already doing so.

Here's a list of the lovely eight ladies that attend the meet, so be sure to check out their blogs.
