Troutsdale Farm Luxury Barn Holiday Cottage

Bank holiday weekend was my friend's hen do in Derbyshire at Troutsdale Farm Luxury Barn Holiday Cottage and we had an absolutely fantastic three nights in the cottage. The cottage and the owners were wonderful; we are already planning on our next trip later in the year!

Life has been so hectic at the moment and I have a lot on my plate with studying, my health, university in September and work. I don't want to go into great detail as I am not someone who whines about things. Whatever life throws at me, I just get my head down, work even harder and come out of things stronger. But, blog wise, I will be back on track in June once I have got the next three weeks out of the way and have lots of new and exciting posts planned.

I wanted to share with you some photos of my friend's hen do, as people previously have said they like seeing snippets into bloggers lives.

The beautiful cottage/barn - Old Shire Stables at Tittesworth, Blackshaw Moor, Leek.

A day out at Shugborough Hall. Definitely recommend this place, it's fab! Fantastic for kids too and so much to do apart from the beautiful hall. They have a mini farm, bottle feeding lambs and calves, beautiful grounds, cafes, gardens etc.

Pottery painting at Manifold Craft Barn - Another amazing place to visit. The owner Ed was fantastic, so helpful and very patient with our amateur pottery painting skills!

A day out in Buxton which was around a 25 minute drive from the cottage. We went in 50's fancy dress which was very fun! Although we did get a lot of attention and strange looks...
