Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic £20 is designed after cleansing, to act as a treatment for your skin. It is said to hydrate, balance, calm, soothe and revive the skin with natural ingredients such as cucumber extract. Sounds pretty impressive to me!
I bought this on a bit of a whim really. I hadn't read any reviews and didn't really know a lot about the product, nor any of the Bobbi Brown skin care and felt like I was venturing into the unknown. The bottle feels extremely heavy duty and luxury and the actual product smells divine (not as divine if you are not a fan of lavender). After using the face tonic, my skin feels extremely moisturised, not tight at all (Clinique Clarifying Lotion I am thinking of you!) and very hydrated.
I have heard that lavender can sometimes break people out, but I have not experienced any problems with this tonic breaking me out; it just leaves me with super smooth, soft and nourished skin and since I have been using it, I do feel like the moisture levels in my skin have increased.
Overall, a nice toner/tonic, although a little on the pricey side, but a wonderful treat which I save and use now and again when my skin needs a little bit of a moisture boost.
