Bourjois Liner Feutre Felt Tip Eyeliner

Bourjois Liner Feutre Felt Tip Eyeliner Swatch

I bought the Bourjois Liner Feutre as when I tried out the tester on my hand in Boots, it appeared to be just what I was looking for. Jet black, precise and very wet so there was no need to scrub it back and forth. The first three times I used it, it looked fabulous on my eyes, stayed put all day, didn't smudge and didn't transfer onto the top of my eyelid, even my flicks were intact after 6 - 8 hours of wear.

After the third use, the liner seemed to dry out and now, as you can see from the photo of it on my hand, it leaves a wishy washy line that isn't jet black anymore. Trying to get it onto my lids now or trying to do my little flicks is almost impossible and I'm going to have to throw it away.

I'm not sure if my Liner Feutre was a dud one or whether there was something wrong with it, but I won't be purchasing another one. This is a real shame as Bourjois usually make fantastic products and I'm never normally let down.

My ultimate favourite felt tip liner is the Smashbox one, but it's almost 3 times the price of the Bourjois one and I'm really not sure if I can afford to splash out that much money on an eyeliner which I wear only a few times a week.

Have you tried any budget felt tip liners that you can recommend I try?
