Pro:voke Touch of Silver Dry Shampoo from £2.09 from John Lewis
Thoughts
I think I prefer this to the Batiste dry shampoo as it doesn't feel as powdery in my scalp and brushes through my hair easier.
Would I repurchase?
Yes, I already have.
Johnson's Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash £3.29 from Superdrug *
Thoughts
I won three of these in a Johnson's competition last year. I can't say I really noticed anything with my skin when I used it. I didn't use it as a cleanser to remove makeup, but simply as a wash to freshen and clean my face in the shower. It didn't dry it out which was nice, but the exfoliating effects were minimal.
Would I repurchase?
No, I didn't see any difference with my skin.
Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter x 2 - 50ml version £25 for 1L from Boots
Thoughts
I love Soap and Glory and the smell of their products. This didn't let me down and hydrated my dry skin, leaving it smelling lovely after a shower.
Would I repurchase?
Yes, but in a larger size which is more cost efficient.
Boots Botanics All Bright Hydrating Night Cream £4.99 from Boots
Thoughts
Love, love, love this! I won't waffle on about it too much because I talk about it all the time. Having to use it in conjunction with a more hydrating serum now winter is here.
Would I repurchase?
Yes, I have around three more tubs in my backup
MAC Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator £22 from MAC
Thoughts
I think using this was more of a novelty because of the 'Volcanic Ash' and the amazing, dark grey colour! The exfoliating particles, as you rub them in, gently dissolve. To say this costs £22, it didn't last very long. I found I had to use more than I needed because the exfoliating grains dissolved too quickly. On a plus side, it didn't irritate my sensitive winter skin nor did it break me out.
Would I repurchase?
For £22, I don't think I will.
Boots Botanics Body Oil
Thoughts
I love using a body oil after the shower as I find it easy to apply and it doesn't leave any sticky feeling on the skin like body lotion can. This is hydrating and nourishing with a mild, pleasant scent. I think It may have been discontinued though, as I can't find it on the Boots website. Booo!
Would I repurchase?
I have two in my back up already, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to purchase anymore.
L'Oreal Ever Riche Nourishing & Flowing Shampoo for Dry Fine Hair £5.99 from Boots
Thoughts
I've been using this for quite some time now and I really like it. During winter though, it's not nourishing enough for my dry hair and because of the irritation and itchy, flakey scalp I've had lately, I've had to switch to something else.
Would I repurchase?
I already have around another 3-4 bottles of this stashed away! I'll be reusing it again in spring/summer.
Elf Eyelid Primer £1.50 from Eyes Lips Face
Thoughts
For £1.50, you really can't go wrong. It helped to keep my eyeshadow in place and it did work well in stopping it from creasing. My only gripe is that the tube dried out so quickly, and as someone who doesn't wear eyeshadow very often, this was disappointing
Would I repurchase?
Possibly. Although I'm a huge fan of the Smashbox Eyelid Primer and prefer this over the ELF one. Although the difference in prices is unbelievable!
Ojon Revitalizing Mist Original £20.50 from Ojon
Thoughts
The price of this is really high, but I absolutely love it. I spray it through wet hair and can instantly comb it. It detangles, nourishes my dry ends and doesn't make my hair heavy or greasy.
Would I repurchase?
Yes, I already have.
Pharmagel Firma Derm Hand & Body Moisturizer 250ml £26 from Beautybay *
Thoughts
I won a mini set of Pharmagel Travel Sized Products last year and have just scrapped the last drags of the moisturiser out. I just use this on my hands as it's only an 89ml tube. It contains Retinol-A (a derivative of vitamin a) which is why it's so expensive. Vitamin A/Retinol is supposed to do wonders for your skin and be a great anti-ageing product. This is moisturising and hydrating, but I didn't like the smell. It's overpowering and reminds me of cleaning products!
Would I repurchase?
No, as I'm quite happy with cheaper alternatives.
