The Cult Beauty Box by Caroline Hirons

This is not really a review as such, that will come at a later date once I have had a chance to test out the many products I received in the box, but can we just spend some time gasping and falling in love with the contents!!

Initially, I was unsure about spending £100 on a beauty box, but seeing as I worship Caroline Hirons, I completely trusted her judgment and recommendations and boom, it was added to my basket... The Cult Beauty Box by Caroline Hirons is absolutely divine! Out of the products I have tried so far, I am in love. I have already ordered the full size Ren Omega 3 Optimum Skin Oil from SpaceNK (with £5 off from my N.dulge card) and I can certainly see myself ordering some of the other bits too.

I believe the box has now sold out, but it appears you can sign up to a waiting list and will received notification when and if there is another collaboration. My fingers and toes are all crossed! I beg that Cult Beauty and Caroline Hirons join forces again - please, please, please!

Did you manage to get hold of this box? What are your thoughts on the content?

OPI Hawaii Collection Nail Polishes and Swatches

Three coats of colour (no base/top coat)

That's Hula-rious on my nails with a base and topcoat

When I was recently asked whether I'd like to try the OPI Hawaii Collection Nail Polishes* from Just My Look, I absolutely couldn't resist! At the minute, I have a bit of a nail polish obsession, so I was super excited to try these, although the delivery was not the speediest and I am very impatient when it comes to things arriving in the post!

In the Hawaii for OPI box, you receive four mini 3.75ml nail polishes in Suzi Shops & Island Hops (baby pink), That's Hula-rious (mint green), Lost my Bikini In Molokini (a beautiful rich purple and my current favourite) and Aloha from OPI (a vibrant red with slight orange undertones). For £9.95, I was really impressed (RRP £14.50) as full sized OPI nail polishes are usually around the £10 mark.

The mint green and baby pink were a tiny bit streaky on the first coats, but this evened out after the second. The purple and red applied like a dream and were definitely my favourites - I am a sucker for bright nail polishes! The mint green, That's Hula-rious, is not a colour I would usually buy, but I received so many compliments from people when wearing it, even my dad commented!

On my nails, the OPI polish lasted around 3 days without any chipping, which is around average and when combined with a base and topcoat. I do love these mini sets and think they're perfect for trying out different colours; I mean who uses up a full bottle of nail polish before it goes off?! Not me! They're also perfect for presents. I really hope to purchase some more soon - I already have my eye on the OPI Little Bambinos Mini Pack for autumn/winter.

Top 5 Favourite Korean Beauty Buys

I have a crazy, busy weekend ahead of me, so I am writing a quick post in advance to show you my current top 5 favourite Korean beauty buys.

Beauty products are something I've always been a little bit obsessed with; I'm always searching and on the lookout for new and interesting products, especially from other countries.

I got into the whole Korean branded makeup and beauty products when I found out about MeMeBox and got completely hooked. Unfortunately, they no longer ship to the uk (wahhhhhhhhhh!), so I have had to use other resources such as eBay and BeautynetKorea which have been my saviours.

Over the next few weeks, I will be writing up a full review on each of the products. I have tried soooo many Korean skin care products over the last year, but these are definitely my 5 favourites.

Snail Bee High Content Essence is my NEW BEST FRIEND! Honestly, since using it a year ago, this is around my fourth bottle. I slather my face in this and I love it!!! So many of my friends have purchased this after trying mine and I don't think I will ever look back.

The Hologram Serums are beautiful. So refreshing and luxurious to use. Not 100% sure on the whitening aspect, but they certainly help to keep my skin looking in a great condition.

Sleeping packs are a new thing in the UK after the Body Shop launched theirs, with various other brands following. I'm not sure if they will take off in the UK, but in Korea, they are big! This Tony Moly Intense Care Dual effect Sleeping Pack is my favourite so far for dry, dehydrated and a little bit sensitive skin.

I love masks, and after the Origins hype, I think I've moved on to bigger and better things! This mask by Missha is called Super Aqua Double Enzyme Oxygen Mask and contains little beads of goodness that burst upon application. Afterwards, my skin feels like a dream!

Ultimately, my favourite ever moisturiser. Nothing else has come close, no matter what the price tag. This Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream is just the most delicious and amazing product my skin has ever come into contact with. I don't know anyone who hasn't tried this and not been amazed by it.

I promise that full reviews of each of the products will be coming very soon! Hopefully, along with lots more product and lifestyle reviews.

OGX Shampoo Review - Coconut Milk and Macadamia Oil

After reading so many amazing things about the Ogx brand from other bloggers, and after my beloved L'Oreal Ever Riche shampoo for Dry, Fine Hair was discontinued/re-packaged, I needed something else on-par.

I decided to try the Ogx Coconut Milk because it mentions hydrating, but balancing your hair. This sounded great as I suffer from oily roots and very dry, damaged ends. And I also added the Ogx Macadamia Oil shampoo to my basket, although I was a little worried that this may weigh down my fine hair, especially with the word 'oil'.

I'll start off by saying that these are the most delicious smelling shampoos I have used! They are sooo thick and rich in texture and lather up so well; a small 5 pence piece size is all I need for my shoulder length bob. Using them in the shower is an absolutely pleasure and worth the £6.99 price tag.

Comparing both bottles after using them numerous times, the Macadamia Oil is my ultimate favourite. It didn't weigh down my hair at all like I was initially worried about; it was hydrating, nourishing and helped keep my frizz at bay without adding too much oil to my fine hair. The Coconut Milk Shampoo was nice, a lot thicker and less rich in texture, which nourished my hair, but just not quite enough. I think the Coconut Milk would be better for someone with 'normal' hair who doesn't need as much nourishment.

I am super excited to try out more from the Ogx range, especially some of the oils and sprays in the which sound lovely. I would certainly be happy to repurchase the Ogx Macadamia Oil Shampoo, along with the conditioner next time, but I think I'll give the Coconut Milk a miss.

Sanctuary Spa Hot Sugar Scrub

As a huge fan of body scrubs, I went a bit overboard at Boots and recently purchase four new scrubs... But the Sanctuary Spa Hot Sugar Scrub is definitely high up the list in terms of luxury, amazing scent and exfoliation.

Having never tried a hot scrub before, I was intrigued and quickly added the Sanctuary Scrub to my basket. It has the typical Sanctuary smell upon opening and remind me a bit of a thick, creamy milkshake in texture! Upon scooping out a handful and gently rubbing it into my skin, the warmth starts to come through and it gently heats up which feels lovely on my skin. The particles are quite abrasive and definitely help to exfoliated and get rid of any dry skin, especially on my legs and the backs of my arms.

After my shower, my skin feels very smooth, although not overly moisturised like some body scrubs I have tried in the past. It doesn't leave any moisturising residue or oil on my skin, so you definitely require a good thick body lotion afterwards if you suffer from dry skin. The scent lingers for a few minutes, but would probably last longer if layered with a Sanctuary body butter or lotion.

Currently on offer at £8 for a huge 400g tub, I will certainly be stocking up on some more of this. I just love that thermal, warming feel when you rub it into your skin. It will be perfect for those cold, winter nights!
